I love moose. This is my second moose painting, and a clear improvement. I included a map of Alaska carved onto his horn, and the baby bird nest on the other. My husband suggested the background be of a famous painting. Warhol's soup cans came to mind immediately, even though he was thinking of a landscape. He's the one who coined the title "Mooshroom Soup." Sometimes I start with a title, sometimes the painting clearly tells me the title once it's done, and sometimes I request ideas and titles from my friends and relatives.
